February 7, 2010 - 2:36 pm Danielle Jones - I nominate my husband Ryan. Six weeks ago I had an unexpected health crisis. Ryan took two weeks off of work and took care of the kids. Most importantly he attended to me night and day. I required over 30 pills a day, oxygen, dressing changes,etc. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He was exhausted, but never complained. Infact he showed so much love that it reminded me all over again why I fell in love with him 21 years ago!

February 7, 2010 - 4:45 pm Julie Barber - I am entering my friend, Jenny Tucker. She just had her 3rd baby about 2 weeks ago. She had to have an emergency C-section after hours of labor. Jenny is the most generous, kind and giving friend I have ever had. She is always thinking of others and how she can help them. This photo shoot would be awesome for her to have with the baby alone or with all 3 kids. She would love it!!

February 8, 2010 - 11:58 pm Karen Ord - I would love to nominate my sister, Nancy Yuhas. She will die when she finds out that I am doing this because she does not like to have attention brought to herself. She is the type of woman who very quietly does things behind the scenes. She loves to serve and is always the first to offer help...even when most times, she should be the one receiving it. Caring for 5 children of her own and working a part time job, does not give her much time for herself. I would love her to be recognized as the queen I think she is and for her amazing HEART that she gives so freely to everyone she knows.

February 9, 2010 - 12:26 am Andrea Profancik - I would like to nominate Lisa Zollinger. She is due to have her 4th child in four months...and is also due for a family photo! I love her because she would literally do anything for anyone.

February 9, 2010 - 6:16 pm denise - I'd like to nominate Stefanie (Tomczik) Garcia one of my favorite Elementary teachers of all time. She is a woman that goes above and beyond for her students helping to make them the scholars she knows they can become. Stephanie and her husband will be having or (just had) their first baby and I'd love for them to document this special time through photos.

February 9, 2010 - 8:04 pm Jennifer Jones - I would like to nominate Melissa White. She has been a very good friend to me for the five years since I've lived in Ladera Ranch. She was there for me at 6 a.m. when she came over so I could go to the hospital to have my sweet baby girl. She coordinated an "surprise" 30th dessert party for me at a pivotal time for me. Just yesterday, she dropped off cookies for my son who had surgery last week. These are just a few of the countless things she has done for me over the years-her winning this would be a great way for me to feel like I have paid her back. She is consistent, kind, and good. And she also has an adorable family that would be great to photograph!

February 10, 2010 - 7:23 pm Erika - I want to nominate Sam's teacher, Ms. Jungwirth. She told me recently that she was lying in bed thinking about how to help my little boy. Any teacher with 32 kids in a class who is up at night thinking about bettering my son's education gets an A+ in my book! She is truly devoted to her class :) And her husband has a Harley I think...OH, the photo shoot possiblities!

February 11, 2010 - 2:23 am Julie Mitchell - Ok, so I've been thinking about this all week! I would like to nominate Leslie Sticht and family. When we moved in the neighborhood they were at my door with a plate of cookies within the week. She is such a sweet girl and does so much for her little kiddies. With baby #4 coming up I think it would be a great time for some family pictures.

February 14, 2010 - 1:42 am Pam McCarren - I would like to nominate my beautiful and wonderful daughter Sarah. Sarah was enjoying her life as an only child after her sister was in college. But soon got squeezed into the middle child spot in our family. (She hasn't had professional photos taken since before Trevor and Tyler were born.) She has been an amazing big sister and loves her brothers so much. The love I have for Sarah is very special. She is the most precious gift that I have ever been given. I know that she would love to have a nice picture of herself to email to her birthmother. One of Sarah's wonderful traits in her teen years is her ability to find nice things about others and focus on the good qualities and be friendly and kind to them. What would Sarah love more than going on a photo shoot with Sister Gentry - Being in the photo shoot! Thank you for doing this. Even if Sarah doesn't win she will get a cute valentine from me. I'm going to copy and paste this and make Sarah a valentine to show her my love.

February 14, 2010 - 11:59 am Paula - I love this- such a sweet and thoughtful idea. I would like to nominate the darling Balck family. They are a wonderful family in Ladera Ranch and Jenni (the cute Mom) is also a teacher at Oso. We were introduced to them through our pediatrician because Brooke has the same heart condition as Paige and has been on and off a transplant list. They are so amazing in the loving care they provide her and they have been so proactive in making sure they are doing everything possible for her. February 14, 2010 - 3:33 pm Heather Doyle - I love the pictures of Max and Piper! I could look at them all day. I am nominating my mom..Sally. She is the most wonderul mother, friend, mother-in-law and grandmother. Everything in her life is for her children and grandchildren. She willing sacrifices her own needs for those of her family. Many of her grandchildren call her "Mom" which is no surprise to those that know her. I count her amoung my greatest blessings. She has been wanting to do a photo shoot with you and her grandchildren for a long time time. I would love to surprise her this Valentine's Day with such a gift.

February 14, 2010 - 9:29 pm ashlee lavell - I want to nominate my mom. she has been there with me every step of the way. when I was 2 and had to get stitches in the middle of the night she was with me at the hospital holding my hand. when my brother got stitches she was with him also. she takes time out of her day everyday to cook, take care of us, and make sure that we r ok each and everyday. I love her to death!!! she means the world to me. she is a friend to all and would do anything for anyone. she is such a sweet person and she is amazing!!!! she is caring and such an amazing mother! she has been with me through my ups and down and has been there through EVERYTHING!!!
