A while back this awesome lady and the wonderful ladies of  Matilda Jane put together an auction for this sweet lady.  Well, I got to contribute a photo session.  The ladies of Matilda Jane would supply 5 adorable outfits for the shoot.  Willow’s Mom bid and won that photo session.  We just got together for the big shoot and it was so much fun.  Matilda Jane sent Willow a whole box of darling darling clothes.  Plus, Willow’s Mom brought bags of  Matilda Jane outfits she already had.  I have never seen so many gorgeous clothes in one room.  Each piece seemed like a work of art.  And Willow was such a sweetheart!  Love her.  Thank you for coming!

This Summer I held a Photography Class for Teens.  I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  What talented young ladies they are.  What did we do?  The first week was all about learning how to shoot manually.  Right before the class started I started to panic, thinking what if they just didn’t get it.  But they did.  They picked it up so fast.  I was very impressed.  The second week was all about composing a beautiful and interesting photograph.  On the third week we had some fun with my studio.  The girls proved to be ubberly creative.  The fourth class was a huge photo shoot with multiple scenes filled with models for them to have fun shooting.  The girls all collaborated and came up with some wonderfully creative ideas.  Not only did they prove themselves technically, but they also showed they could create a fun concept for a shoot.  Personally, I thought the photo shoot extravaganza was a blast.  Here are some shots I got on that fun Summer evening…..

We had the cutest kids from the perfect family come to be the perfect models.

One of the girls found this really cool idea on pinterest and we thought it would be fun to use in a shoot.  So during the third class we made this.  Thank you Kathrine for blow drying this till the crayons melted.  Way cool. – Oh and did I mention the girls also did all the hair and make-up?

And I even painted a wall with chalk board paint for the occasion.  I love the results.Want to meet the gorgeous and talented girls?  Well here they are.  (Sorry I don’t have a picture of you Addison!  We only got Addison half the time due to fun Summer trips.)  But here are Kathrine, Lexi, Ellen, Claire and Emily.

So much talent.  So much opportunity ahead of them.  Such great girls.  Thanks for all the fun.  And thanks to all our awesome models! (especially Walter, the car).

I offered a teen photography class for the Summer and we have had so much fun.  Well,  I know I have.  Here are some fun pictures from last weeks class and mini photoshoot.  I have so many fun shots from yesterdays fun shoot too and I can’t wait to sort through them.  I have been having so much fun looking at what the teens have posted on fb.  They are so talented.

I love everything about Avery…her smiles, her hugs, her cheerful good nature.  But what I really love is the fact that the chubby rolls on her arms have their own tan lines.  Check them out.  Love her!
