It has been in the works for some time now and I am so excited to be telling you about it now.  The Sandbucket is a Magazine that will be a collaboration of many wise women with experiences to share with all.  There will be articles for parents, articles for teens, diy projects, recipes, and much much more.  The first issue will be titled “Teens and Talents.”  This will be due out the end of January.  For now follow along on our blog.  We will have lots of fun posts from guest bloggers this month.  Also please go to our facebook page and become our friend so that you can get all the updates!

Halloween came and blew right by.  Ellie picked out a weird looking pumpkin.  She knew exactly what she wanted to write on it.  She carved out the words, “Inner Beauty.”  And wouldn’t you know it, that pumpkin had the best seeds of all of them.  Funny thing was, one of the other pumpkins we had  looked absolutely perfect on the outside but the seeds were all rotten.  

Yesterday, I got a cute box in the mail.  It said not to open until November 5th.  I couldn’t imagine why.  What is November 5th?  So I did what any one else would do, I stared at it.  Contemplated opening it, but then all my kids came home from school and read the November 5th thing and I was stuck.  So I waited until Midnight and opened it.  It was from my sister-in-law Cynthia.  It had the sign below in it.Also, in the box was ribbon and hangers to hang my banner, 40 cute clips with numbers on them and a picture of Evan and I ( I have no idea where that came from).  But sweetest of all was the nicest note from Cynthia.  So I have a fun countdown until my birthday.  Evan is my witness that it made me cry with joy last night as I figured out what was going on.  Here is my first day hung up on my banner.  I am excited for the next 39 days!

I had the privilege to photograph these twin girls.  How sweet they are.  How lucky their parents are to have them and how lucky they are to have their parents. ( And of course, how lucky they are to have their sweet cousin Lexi too!)

I met up with Kira on a beautiful sunny day for her Senior pictures.  Out of the blue, rain started pouring on our heads.  It only added to our fun.  Kira is one of those girls that is truly beautiful inside and out.  These pictures reminded me of the quote below….
